Position Summary
-Provide timely result feedback to process during production run.
-Make analytical data available and up to date, and inform if there are any abnormalities.
-Carry out routine lab tasks in a safe manner, in accordance with all the company’s procedures at all times.
-Maintain all laboratory equipment to ensure that they are in good condition and their cleanliness.
-Maintain the laboratory housekeeping and cleanliness.

Education/Experience:
-SPM / MCE with Science background / Any Technical Certificate or equivalent from recognized institutions.

Experience:
-1 or 2 years experience in Manufacturing or Laboratory testing, preferably from a MNC.

Skills:
-Computer literate
-Familiar with analytical techniques, chemical-handling and laboratory procedures.  Ability to use testing tools and equipment.
-Good organization and reporting skills.
-Flexibility in performing changing assignments and work schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent is to assist in the set up and upkeep of science laboratories, laboratory equipment, chemicals and any other related laboratory items. To maintain proper stock records of science equipment and chemicals and to carry out periodical stock check twice a year. To replenish consumed and broken equipment, chemicals and miscellaneous items in the laboratories to ensure adequate materials for experiment. To prepare chemical solutions and setups lab apparatus as per requirement by science teacher for weekly practical’s.

Job Requirements:

-Possess a SPM or equivalent, preferably in the science discipline;
-Work experience in laboratory is an advantage.
-Pleasant disposition with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
-Good command of English.
-Confident, mature and can work independently. Proficient in MS Office applications.
-To assist in the set up and upkeep of science laboratories, laboratory equipment, chemicals and any other related laboratory items for the purpose of experiments as per subject requirements.
