(Selangor)

Job Responsibilities:

-Shall report to the Senior Field Engineer and base in Miri.
-Field Engineer I shall be more senior than Field Engineer II and shall be assigned with major projects with high profile and critically.
-Shall be the focal point in preparing the assigned workpacks in accordance to the workpack preparation guideline.
-Shall ensure all safety concerns are addressed in the Workpacks.
-Shall comply with all CLIENT Procedures and Guidelines and ensure incorporation into the workpacks.
-Shall raise any technical queries and monitor the status of all technical queries raised during the workpack preparation phase, minor fabrication phase and offshore execution phase.
-Shall perform workscoping, prepare workpack, assist in offshore execution and prepare close-out reports.
-Shall accelerate workpacks issuance in compliance with the latest CLIENT’s work programme (Integrated Barge Schedule).
-Shall incorporate the latest project key dates in the workpacks as per the latest CLIENT’s work programme (Integrated Barge Schedule).
-Shall verify fabricated items in the Fabrication Yard before despatch offshore.
-Shall report to the Construction Superintendent during the offshore execution phase.
-Shall prepare and issue the Post Project Critique immediately upon project completion.

Job Requirements:

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical /Chemical / Petroleum / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
-At least 5 year(s) construction experience in the offshore Oil and Gas Industries of which 3 years in preparing workpack and follow up execution on offshore hook-up and commissioning projects.
-Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills.
-Possesses good interpersonal and organizational skills.
-Good anaytical skill and able to solve complex problem.
-Field and practicality minded.
-Able to work under pressure during offshore execution stage to meet client requirement.
