Job Responsibilities:
-To report to the office for daily assignment and for any other assignment set by the supervisor.
-To collect the daily report at Housekeeping and attend the daily briefing. To collect the keys for the assigned areas and sign in the log book.
-To collect cleaning supplies and proceed to the assigned areas. Also ensure that the trolleys are neatly packed and there is sufficient stocks before starting (e.g. Linens, Stationary & Amenities).
-To ensure that Guest Rooms and Checked-out Rooms are cleaned as per Housekeeping standard and room supplies to be replenished are complete.
-To clean and daily maintain the room corridor – standing ashtrays, side table, wall lamps, etc.
-To maintain and clean the maids pantry, service area and staircases after every shifts.
-To attend immediately to guests request as and when its needed and inform the Supervisors of the matter.
-To remove all dirty cutleries, crockeries and trays from corridor and guest rooms.
-To complete any assignment promptly and correctly-cleaning of all public areas which is under the Housekeeping Department.
-To ensure proper usage of all equipments, chemicals and cleaning materials. Minimize the wastage of chemicals.
-To make sure the rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
-To report any maintenance defects to the Housekeeping’s Office or Supervisor.
-To follow-up on certain duties like, make-up extra beds and baby coats, turn mattress when necessary, vacuum drapes in rooms, change mattress pads when necessary.
-To follow rules and regulations of the Department and Resort.
-To ensure that your trolley is clean and tidy at all times.
-Make sure you are wearing a clean and presentable uniform.
-To clean all equipment’s and utensils and store them properly in their respective place before finishing each shift.
-To check and report the consumption of minibar in all guest room.
-To posted the consumption of minibar through telephone system and prepare the bill.
-To refill / restock the minibar fridge according to standard set up.
Job Requirements:
-1 year experience in similar position, preferably in 5-star rated international Resorts.
-Must have good knowledge of modern technologies applied within the rooms division area.
