Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Regulatory and Technical Services Manager responsible for the following :-
* To drive the Regulatory Affairs, Technical Support and Quality Assurance divisions towards meeting the company’s target.
* Administers and manage the activities in the regulatory affairs area, with regards to products’ registration and approval.
* Administers and manage the technical support services to Marketing and Purchasing during product development process for all cosmetics, fragrance, toiletries (Local and Import) and Food/ Nutritional supplements (Wellness).
* Responsible to represent company as Technical Committee member in Malaysian Cosmetics, Fragrances and Toiletries Association (CTFA).
* Responsible to execute the direction of Avon Product Inc. Corporate Quality Procedures to ensure that product quality is maintained at the desired level in accordance with the Company Policy.
* Responsible for the efficient operations of the QA division and the continuous development , quality management system and implementation of the QA procedures & system and accountable for implementation of quality control and assurance activities.
* Responsible on development & implementation of standards and processes complying with Avon Global safety & quality initiatives partnering with Regional Legal department and Global Quality & Safety leads
* Accountable in Non Cosmetics, Fragrances and Toiletries Association Vendor Management Program by ensuring on the documentation of the vendors’ quality & Oversees factory audit program for vendor compliance on technical and social accountability
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology or other related Bachelor In Science qualification.
* Minimum 8 years experience in regulatory affairs areas especially product registration and licensing requirements with National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau (NPCB), Ministry of Health Malaysia.
* Preferred experiences in the productions for cosmetics, toiletries and nutritional supplements industry related. Those with R&D and quality assurance/control background will be an advantage.
* Knowledgeable in latest local regulations and acts, technical background and overall cosmetics industry information can be an added value.
