Job Responsibilities:
* To provide efficient plant maintenance and ensure minimal machine downtime and disruption to production activities.
* Establish maintenance procedures for all plant facilities, machinery and equipment.
* To manage tooling, tooling drawings and have overall control of the maintenance store and technicians.
* Plant Engineer will troubleshoot, maintain tooling standards, and provide technical specifications for modification, upgrading, new equipment, new installation and updating of all ISO documents.
* Engage in the establishment of technical training programs and new production line planning, execution, installation, commissioning and effective implementation.
* Liaison with vendors and contractors to ensure works are accomplished to meet the company’s overall objectives.
Job Requirements:
* At least five years of experience in a similar manufacturing, machine shop, plant engineering, oil and gas industry, shipyard or heavy duty engineering work environment with good knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and procedures.
* Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) skill and knowledge couple with 5S mindset will be an added advantage.
* Minimum qualification is a Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
* Good leadership and communication skills are necessary
