Lab Technologist (2 vacancies) – Company – “ JW Properties Sdn Bhd”
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Microbiological, Chemical, Molecular and Physical Lab test for raw materials, in-process and finished goods;
- Developing new techniques and methodologies
- Interpreting data and adhering to ISO 17025 guidelines when recording data
- Procurement of chemicals, reagents, equipment and so forth required.
- Assist Laboratory Manager to maintain the quality system and technical records.
- Ensure Good Laboratory Practice.
- Working in a cross-functional team in the Farm, Food Processing and Quality division.
- Liasing with staffs, suppliers and clients.
- To assist in Lab, Processing Plant or Farm R&D projects.
- To provide training to the lab assistant
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Chemistry or biological equivalent.
- The candidates preferably posses knowledge in chemical analysis methods such as physical, microbiology, feed formulation and analysis, HPLC, ELISA and molecular technique.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and HACCP in Shrimp and food Industry will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and computer literate.
- Good analytical skill.
- Required language(s): English, Chinese & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have interest in lab work.
- Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience in lab is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Selangor.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
- Must be willing to be relocated.
- Able to do trouble shooting in the lab test-related problem.
- Multitasking oriented.
- Ability to interact well with various level of management staff, customers, suppliers and scientific community
